Sub-Zero and Wolf, a leading manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances, engaged with Ascedia to build a website that would act as both a showcase for the brand's finest kitchen appliances and an inspiration source for visitors looking to create their dream kitchen. The Challenge

Sub-Zero and Wolf's site required a unique approach to provide custom content for its diverse set of target audiences. In Ascedia’s discovery and goal setting process, we delineated visitor personas that ranged from early purchase decision influencers (architects, designers and contractors), to channel distribution partners and dealer networks, to high-end consumers. Based on that research, we designed an efficient site navigation and user experience that could serve each of these individual audiences.

To execute on this strategy-based design, Sub-Zero and Wolf needed an enterprise content management solution that could scale to the brands continual growth and integrate with existing enterprise systems.

Sitecore Implementation

After much evaluation, Ascedia determined Sitecore would be the best CMS for Sub-Zero and Wolf’s needs. Sitecore, an enterprise level .NET CMS, gives our clients complete freedom of choice and a breadth of rich features to create immersive web experiences. With open API extensibility, we can perform complex integrations with a wide range of existing and third-party enterprise platforms.

Search Implementation

In addition, we implemented Sitecore's partner technology, Coveo, to accelerate search results and enhance the user experience for all Sub-Zero and Wolf's personas.

Complete Integration

Sitecore’s e-commerce capabilities and UX upgrades made Sub-Zero and Wolf's online store purchase journey more effective. The new experience was easy to navigate, thus reducing the need for customer support. In addition, we made product accessories more visible to motivate users to purchase add-ons.
