Automation Fair® Pressroom Wins Microsite of the Year
Rockwell Automation Fair® is the premier industrial automation event that showcases the latest products, technologies and solutions from Rockwell Automation and their PartnerNetwork™.
With only a few months until showtime, Rockwell Automation needed a way to pique media interest and give international press contacts a head start on building their itinerary and producing media content. The event features more than 150 exhibits, 400 hours of content programming, 10,000+ builders, problem solvers and technical experts. Rockwell Automation needed to be strategic about maximizing media exposure during the four-day event.
Ascedia created the official Automation Fair® Pressroom microsite - a website that can be accessed with desktop and mobile devices, including multiple touch screens displayed throughout exhibit halls. The website featured the following capabilities.
New Products and Solutions Directory
A detailed preview of every product, including digital press kit assets, contact information, and booth location.
Dynamic calendar that could be filtered by session topic, product type, media-specific events, and more.
Description of each booth which they could then locate on the 2-D Interactive Exhibit Hall Map.
Media stay up-to-speed with developing news stories; with e-mail subscription functionality included.
WordPress was selected as a CMS for the microsite as a quick and flexible approach to support a constant stream of fresh event content.
Ascedia completed the microsite in less than a month, allowing press to access the site with enough time and resources to prepare for the event, ultimately increasing Rockwell Automation's brand exposure.
🏆 In addition, the Rockwell Automation project won Microsite of the Year at ANA Business Marketing’s Bell Awards 2019 for its creativity, production, target audience strategy, and results.
