Landmark originally partnered with Ascedia over a decade ago to design and develop its website on the Kentico CMS in 2015. That platform remained stable and effective for nearly 10 years with minimal maintenance.
In 2023, Landmark re-engaged with Ascedia to lead a complete digital modernization initiative. The website needed to be mobile-friendly, analytics-enabled, and aligned with Landmark’s evolving brand, leadership vision, and growing portfolio.

- Conducted collaborative visioning sessions with Landmark’s founder and executive team
- Facilitated discussions with internal stakeholders to align content goals and tone
- Performed market research and peer benchmarking to inform design direction
Ascedia’s design team developed different photography treatments and layouts to showcase the best angles and attributes of each Landmark facility. Use of dramatic photography combines Landmark’s facilities with powerful language to immediately create a big impact and highlight the company’s primary value statements.
The redesigned website offers an improved experience for mobile users and allows Landmark’s sales team to use any device to showcase success stories and building information to clients and prospects.
- Designed a mobile-first, responsive site that reflects Landmark’s leadership in the space
- Migrated the platform to WordPress with a custom theme built for performance and longevity
- Created a scalable portfolio section with enhanced visual storytelling and flexible layouts
- Brought all designs up to ADA standards for accessibility compliance
In addition, the following with regards to analytics and SEO were implemented:
- Installed Google Tag Manager and GA4 for complete measurement visibility
- Deployed GA4 on the legacy site beginning in March 2023 to capture historical data
- Structured site for SEO best practices, including performance tuning and clean markup
- Hosted in Pantheon to ensure speed, scalability, and secure deployment workflows
- Delivered customized training and user documentation for internal editors
- Ensured Landmark’s marketing and content teams could confidently manage the platform
