Project Solution.

Since 2023, Ascedia has partnered with Lakeside to lead a digital transformation effort spanning design, technical architecture, and ongoing support across multiple brand divisions. Our work includes:

  • Full redesign and build of three divisional websites (Foodservice, Healthcare, Industrial)
  • WordPress + WooCommerce implementation customized for manufacturing workflows
  • Integration with Plytix PIM for centralized product data management
  • Reorganization of product hierarchy and attribute-based search
  • Strategic roadmap for multisite management and content governance
  • GTM/GA4 configuration for clean analytics and lead attribution
  • Long-term technical and strategic support for marketing and IT teams

Lakeside Manufacturing had inherited a disconnected, underperforming web presence from multiple prior vendors. The product catalog was fragmented across internal tools, and teams struggled to maintain content consistency, launch new products, or support customer questions with accurate technical details. Other challenges included:

  • Outdated site architecture and design not optimized for mobile
  • Frequent outages and performance issues
  • No centralized product management or marketing system
  • Difficult-to-navigate document library
  • Inconsistent data across sales, marketing, and customer service
  • Complex plugin sprawl, legacy code, and unresolved licensing issues
  • No visibility into digital performance due to broken analytics
The redesigned platform gives Lakeside a solid, scalable digital foundation—one that supports day-to-day marketing activity, simplifies internal workflows, and presents a professional, mobile-friendly experience for buyers across industries. Ascedia continues to serve as a strategic partner, supporting site growth, analytics, and cross-brand alignment as the company scales.
