NAME AND TITLE

Ian Jacobs – Associate Application Developer

MY TYPICAL WORKDAY

My typical workday consists mostly of maintenance on websites and engineering solutions to new projects.

HOW I CHOSE MY CAREER PATH

I chose this career path because of its wide bearing and vast knowledgebase. I cannot be pigeon holed in the world of programming with so many underlying disciplines and endless sectors. I love a challenging problem that requires unique logic to solve. As I get further into the world of web design, I have learned from so many different programmers and gain insight into their individual perspectives. I enjoy getting to see the intricacies of their thought processes and have learned how to broaden my own.

MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT WORKING AT ASCEDIA

I gained most of my programming knowledge at a local coding boot camp called Dev Code Camp.
