Ascedia is seeking a talented Digital Strategist to join our team of seasoned digital strategy and research professionals and develop innovative web experiences and digital solutions for our clients in tourism, hospitality, retail, healthcare and manufacturing industries.


The Digital Strategist is responsible for managing brand engagements with clients by identifying digital marketing opportunities, executing strategies and growing client KPIs.

Responsible for execution of high-level marketing strategy analysis and execution of daily marketing tasks such as keyword research, SEO/PPC campaign management, social media advertising, site/campaign performance analysis and user experience research. Is able to effectively analyze a client’s marketing opportunities, communicate their findings, and execute. Will be looked upon to advise and lead digital efforts for clients by analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data to maximize marketing efforts.


  • Perform in-depth keyword research for SEO or PPC campaigns 
  • Analyze large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data to make actionable recommendations for meeting client’s goals 
  • Prove value by developing clear, detailed & actionable reports and presenting them to clients 
  • Perform in-depth research & testing for opportunity analysis and campaigns 
  • Work closely with the Creative/Design department to perform usability studies, create personas and user journeys
  • Work with development teams to ensure client sites maintain digital marketing best practices and tracking & analytics are properly implemented 
  • Maintain a mastery of key marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, Moz, Google Adwords, Bing Ads or Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned client’s products, services, marketplace, competition and any/all other pertinent information 
  • Produce client-facing audits, reports, documents and presentation materials that outline the performance of client’s site and marketing initiatives & opportunities 
  • Manage time efficiently while balancing skill development with completing assigned tasks. 
  • Maintain proficiency in the following areas: SEO, PPC, social media advertising, usability testing, email or reporting
  • Moderate client engagement; must be able to present ideas and strategies to large-scale clients and internal project members with clarity and confidence


  • BA/BS in Marketing, Statistics or related field
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Google Analytics and Google AdWords certification 
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Time management and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Highly detail-oriented; ability to identify micro elements that affect overall performance 
  • Fundamental understanding of digital marketing 
  • Focus on results and high work ethic
