Ascedia announced today that they are expanding beCause, a website design and e-marketing outreach program, to include an annual matching grant program for non-profit and cause-based organizations. Ascedia created beCause in 2001 to serve non-profit ventures by donating time, materials, and professional marketing services.

“At Ascedia we take pride in our community and our commitment to social stewardship. We have always given back to the communities we do business in, and today I am happy to announce the expansion of our outreach efforts with our Matching Grant Program,” said Dan Early, President of Ascedia. “In the current economic climate, it is imperative that cause-based organizations have the ability to continue their investment in online marketing channels for effective engagement, relationship management, and information delivery – and this new program creates an easy conduit for participation and budget expansion.”

Under the new Matching Grant Program, cause-based organizations can apply for a partial or full budget grant match, up to $20,000 per organization, for web development, internet marketing, training, and other web related services provided by the Milwaukee based company. Through the beCause program, Ascedia plans to donate $200,000 in services to cause-related organizations in calendar year 2009. The grants will be awarded in two stages. The application deadline for the first $100,000 in grants is June 30, 2009.

“We have always wanted to grow the beCause program and expand its reach,” continued Early. “For eight years our beCause program has made a difference for so many clients and people they serve, but we have always wanted to do more. We feel that the time is right to grow the program to help our clients expand the reach of their budgets, and it’s an important venture for us because we understand the value of social ROI. The employees at Ascedia believe in the beCause program and enjoy making a difference in their community by sharing their time and talent. The entire staff has made a commitment to the growth of the program and they are excited to be a part of it.”

This program was designed with non-profits in mind. However, any organization, whether non-profit or for-profit, that makes a positive difference in their community is eligible for beCause.

Organizations can apply for the program by visiting http://because.ascedia.com or by contacting Amy Hoekman at: 414.292.3220.

About Ascedia:

Ascedia has been developing interactive solutions for a wide variety of businesses, including travel and hospitality, healthcare and medical services, manufacturing, non-profit, and retail businesses since September 2000.
