What makes Ascedia special? Our people! Every week, we'll introduce you to a member of our team so you can get to know us a little better.
NAME AND TITLE
Scott Noe (legally), Scott Friday (if you’re nasty) -- Junior Web Designer / Semi-Professional Paranormal Hairdresser
MY TYPICAL WORKDAY
Frank told me never to discuss what I do here.
HOW I CHOSE MY CAREER PATH
After Antoine fired me from the burlesque revue, I knew I had to find something quick. Graphic design seemed like the kind of career that wouldn’t involve having quarters thrown at me by drunken businessmen, so I looked into it. Here I am, three months later.
MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT WORKING AT ASCEDIA
Neil attracted me to Ascedia. He said you guys got lunch breaks and didn’t have to answer the phone. My favorite thing about working here is that since I’ve started this job, the night terrors seem to have finally ceased.
Bachelor of Arts and a whole mess of rock albums
HIGH SCHOOL MASCOT
I was a haberdasher before The Great War.
BEST PIECE OF CAREER/PROFESSIONAL ADVICE I'VE RECEIVED
Never wear high heels on your first day.
Mojo Nixon and whoever invented the French Dip
FAVORITE MILWAUKEE HANGOUT
The Grand Canyon
LAST BOOK READ
I'm a few chapters into NOFX: The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories.
PERSON I'D MOST LIKE TO MEET (LIVING OR DEAD)
Joe Strummer or Bruce Springsteen
Oh, that’s a sticky one.
WHAT I DO IN MY SPARE TIME
I’ve been training an army of mutant capybaras to set free on Earth once I hear the opening of the third seal. They have little uniforms and everything.
I make a decent pepper sauce from time to time.
MOST MEANINGFUL ACCOMPLISHMENT
Performing “Punk Rock Girl” with Joe Jack Talcum on backup vocals in front of a live audience.
