Ascedia Wins 2009 WMA Internet Advertising Competition Award for Best Websites in Manufacturing
Milwaukee, WI - 5/11/2009Ascedia has won the Best Websites award in the Manufacturing category of the Web Marketing Association's 2009 Internet Advertising Competition. The Brooks Stevens website was the award winning submission. Brooks Stevens Design, a leader in the industrial design industry since 1934, selected Ascedia to do a full redesign of their website to develop a brand new web presence in March of 2008. The new website was brought up to current standards with new graphics and navigation, along with a content management system (CMS) for the Portfolio Manager and the News Release Manager. The site was built from the ground up with careful attention to Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

The Internet Advertising Competition is open to all organizations and individuals involved in the process of developing all forms of Internet advertising. The entries were judged on the following criteria: creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, and use of the medium. All entries were judged by a panel of experienced professionals with an in-depth understanding of the current state-of-the-art in advertising design and technology and the objectivity to score entries according to a predefined set of criteria.
