Ascedia is proud to announce the launch of JoinVite.com, an innovative new website that friends can use for sharing invitations and finding time to meet up in the real world.  Ascedia was engaged by JoinVite LLC to develop the website design and architecture to implement the JoinVite concept.  

Membership in JoinVite.com is free, open to the public, and requires only an e-mail address.  The website is designed to allow its members to create and share invitations – especially for short-notice or tentative events – without fear of generating e-mail messages that may become unwelcome or out-of-date.  A member can create an invitation, address it to particular friends or groups of friends, assign a pre-set “expiration time” for the invitation, and later edit or delete the invitation if plans change.  

All invitations are saved to the JoinVite.com website instead of being forwarded as e-mail messages.  Whenever a member logs in to JoinVite.com, all current invitations addressed to that member appear automatically sorted by event date and time, and all expired or deleted invitations are filtered out.  As a result, JoinVite.com provides each member with a continually updated, easy-to-use summary of invitations.  Whether seeking a same-day lunch companion or floating an idea for an event days or weeks into the future, a JoinVite.com member can feel free to send invitations as often as desired, knowing that these invitations will only be viewed by persons interested in receiving them.
