Ascedia has been recognized with two 2015 WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association for its work with clients Sub-Zero and Wolf and Alto-Shaam. Now in its 17th year, the WebAward program is the longest-running annual website award competition dedicated to naming the best sites in 96 industries while setting the standard for all website development.
Each year the Web Marketing Association's WebAward Competition names the Best Consumer Goods website by judging the entered websites using seven criteria - design, ease of use, copywriting, interactivity, use of technology, innovation and content. The Sub-Zero and Wolf redesign project took top honors in this category due to Ascedia’s focus on creating a unique, experiential website environment through careful UX and design planning. The updated site uses a responsive platform that is scalable to support new brand product lines, expanded e-commerce and globalization, and continual content updates.
Ascedia’s work with Alto-Shaam on its responsive website redesign was recognized by the Web Marketing Association with an Outstanding Website nod. The Alto-Shaam site organizes and funnels audiences appropriately while elevating the user experience with interactive product videos that incorporate 3D rendering, animation, photography and videography. The site also supports the sales process and provides a consistent brand experience while maintaining ease-of-use through a flexible and user-friendly back-end.
