NAME AND TITLE
Robert Sabinash -- Director of Client Strategy
MY TYPICAL WORKDAY
Variable, but it typically starts around 5 am most days with a pot of coffee. I review email, news and research to get the day started. My day is a mix of client meetings, internal meetings and sometimes talking with people who don’t know what to do but they have an Internet dream of riches. For the ones we qualify and target, I will take them through our process of developing a plan, estimates and proposals. (You can find me writing those proposals typically between 2 and 5 am because its quiet and less distracting.)
HOW I CHOSE MY CAREER PATH
I was an industrial engineer that transitioned to a business development role in the printing industry. I made the transition to digital in the late 90s and have had fun helping companies navigate the complexities of the Internet ever since.
MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT WORKING AT ASCEDIA
I competed with Ascedia for many years as a Business Development Manager at Northwoods, where I won some and lost some. I knew Ascedia was a great organization but didn’t know it was as large as it was or as complete. I love our talent and the work we produce. Everyone is a pleasure to work with and I love the laughter from the programming pods. I am never concerned with our deliverables; I'm more concerned about bringing quality clients in.
