Ascedia is seeking a talented Interactive Marketing Specialist to join our team of seasoned marketing and interactive professionals and develop innovative web experiences and digital solutions for our clients in tourism, hospitality, retail, healthcare and manufacturing industries.


Responsible for execution of high-level marketing strategy analysis. Is able to effectively analyze behavioral and analytic data against a client’s marketing goals and market opportunities, communicate their findings and execute. Will be looked upon to advise and lead digital efforts for clients by analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data to maximize marketing efforts.


  • Analyze large amounts of qualitative and quantitative data to make actionable recommendations for meeting client’s goals 
  • Prove value by developing clear, detailed & actionable reports and presenting them to clients 
  • Perform in-depth research & testing for opportunity analysis and campaigns 
  • Work closely with the Creative/Design department to perform usability studies, prototyping and advanced user engagement and content analysis 
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure client sites maintain digital marketing best practices and tracking & analytics are properly implemented 
  • Maintain a mastery of key marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Raven Tools, SEMRush,, Optimizely and/or marketing automation platforms 
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned client’s products, services, marketplace, competition and any/all other pertinent information 
  • Produce client-facing audits, reports, documents and presentation materials that outline the performance of client’s site and marketing initiatives & opportunities 
  • Communicate with all members of Ascedia regarding questions, problems, scope changes and project time overages
  • Manage time efficiently while balancing skill development with completing assigned tasks. 


  • Maintain mastery in the following areas: analytics, SEO, PPC, usability & multivariate testing
  • Heavy client engagement; must be able to present ideas and strategies to large-scale clients and internal project members with clarity and confidence
  • Accurate and prompt time entry
  • To execute no less AND no more than the amount of time allocated to a particular assignment (monthly managed campaign, research assignment, etc.)
  • Work under the guidance and oversight of Director of Strategy


  • BA/BS in Marketing, Statistics or related field
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Google Analytics and Google AdWords certification 
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Time management and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Highly detail-oriented; ability to identify micro elements that affect overall performance 
  • Strong HTML and CSS skills, JavaScript experience a plus (for tag implementation)
  • Fundamental understanding of interactive marketing
